PD10 led by INLECOM Innovation focuses on developing an Emergency Management System (EMS) to enhance the resilience of European ports facing extreme weather events such as storms, floods, heatwaves, and droughts. The system will provide real-time situational awareness through an interactive map, displaying the transport network status around key ports, including hinterland corridors and inland waterways.
The EMS will integrate knowledge graphs and interdependency models to analyze complex relationships between different transport infrastructures. By leveraging advanced data analytics and predictive simulations, the system will detect incidents and alert stakeholders within five minutes, ensuring rapid response and coordinated decision-making. Additionally, it will simulate cascading effects to identify vulnerabilities and propose data-driven mitigation strategies.
This innovative solution will be deployed and tested at the ports of Rotterdam, Antwerp/Brugge, Hamburg, and Constanța, ensuring adaptability to diverse operational environments. Beyond improving crisis response, PD10 will help ports enhance long-term planning, minimize disruptions, and strengthen collaboration between key stakeholders in the transport and logistics ecosystem.
