CLARION Project is pleased to announce its collaboration with the EU co-funded initiative, SAFARI Ports (Safe, Climate Resilient Ports), a pioneering effort aimed at fortifying port infrastructure against extreme weather events.
Advancing digital Innovation for port safety
SAFARI Ports is focused on the development of an advanced digital platform designed to boost the resilience of port infrastructure. By leveraging cutting-edge technology, the platform seeks to optimize operational efficiency and safety, ensuring seamless port activities even during severe weather disruptions.
Strategic data collection from leading ports
To facilitate data-driven decision-making on a large scale, three pilot ports have been selected to provide critical insights:
- Port of Dunkirk
- Autoridad Portuaria de Sevilla
- Porto de Lisboa
Additionally, two replication ports will test the developed solutions to assess their applicability and scalability:
- Autorità di Sistema Portuale del Mar Tirreno Settentrionale (Port of Livorno)
- Port of Tripoli (Lebanon)
