The Transport Research Arena (TRA) 2026 has officially come to an end, marking another important milestone for innovation and collaboration in the European transport and logistics sector. During the event in Budapest, the Clarion Project actively participated at the ALICE – Alliance for Logistics Innovation through Collaboration in Europe (ETP LOGISTICS) booth, presenting project achievements and engaging with stakeholders, researchers, and industry professionals from across Europe.
As one of the leading European platforms dedicated to transport research and innovation, TRA 2026 provided the ideal opportunity for Clarion Project partners to share ongoing developments, discuss future challenges, and strengthen cooperation within the logistics community.
On Wednesday, May 20th, Kenneth Gavin, Clarion Project’s Scientific Coordinator, delivered a presentation featuring both the Clarion and SAFARI Ports projects. The session highlighted the projects’ contributions to advancing smarter, more sustainable, and resilient logistics and port operations through innovation, collaboration, and research-driven solutions.
Throughout the event, the Clarion Project team welcomed visitors interested in learning more about the project’s objectives, technological developments, and expected impact on the future of European logistics and transport systems.
The participation at TRA 2026 also reinforced the importance of European cooperation in accelerating the transition toward greener and more efficient supply chains, while fostering dialogue between research initiatives, industry representatives, and policymakers.
