The CLARION project was featured on the NordSee-Zeitung website with a dedicated news article, as well as on the Hamburg Port website. The news coverage highlighted the project’s unique aspects and goals, emphasizing its innovative approach to enhancing the resilience, sustainability, and security of European ports in response to climate change. Key objectives include increasing the operational availability of port infrastructure during extreme events and reducing accidents caused by climate-related disruptions. Additionally, the project aims to encourage a shift toward low-emission transportation systems with minimal environmental impact.
The articles also focused on the participation of Europe’s three largest container ports on the North Sea—Rotterdam, Antwerp-Bruges, and Hamburg—as well as the largest European port on the Black Sea, Constanta, and included comments from representatives of these ports.
